Description Suggest change

This is the finger of rock that points down toward the boulderfield. Mostly harder climbs on high quality Waterville granite. Home to the hardest route in the area to date, Axiom 5.13c, a steep double boulder problem on a rope. On the other side of the buttress two classic 5.12s on perfect stone.

Getting There Suggest change

From the boulderfield you can scramble up hill on a steep and scrappy but easily identifiable trail. That might be quicker from the boulders but the easier way is to hike the trail closer to the steam that leads up to the other cliffs. After a little steepness the trail flattens and there is a left turn in a clearing. Follow this trail to the Cavern Cliff and head left from there to Yellowjacket Buttress.
