Description Suggest change

The Diamond is the sheer wall with a prominent pillar to the northeast of Li Ming village. The Diamond gets sun all day making it a great place to visit during the colder time of the year. Expect to be warm in the sun! There are a handful of high quality single pitch routes and two multipitch routes that meet up and summit the huge pillar. Since the approach is long and the are just enough climbs to keep a motivated party busy for a long day - get an early start and try to climb them all.

Getting There Suggest change

Take the road across the bridge to the South Valley to the sharp hairpin turn in the road. Here there is a trail that cuts down to the river. Cross the wooden foot bridge and follow the most established trail up the gully, eventually cutting left (climber's left) to the ridge. Follow the ridge until the trail cuts right under the conglomerate wall and keep traversing up and right to the large pillar.
