Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This aspect is the side of Jellystone that faces away from the main road. The wall gets full sun in the afternoon and is generally warm on cold days.

Getting There

Park in a paved pullout on the south side of Quail Springs Road just east of Keys' Wash. Follow a social trail around to the back side of the Jellystone formation.
