Description
is a major canyon east of the cities of Provo and Orem. The Provo River, renowned for fly fishing, starts high in the Uinta mountains and flows through the canyon after passing though two reservoirs.
Provo Canyon contains world-renowned ice climbing and a smattering of developed rock climbing routes on limestone.
Also running through the canyon is US Highway 189 connecting the Provo-Orem area with the Heber Valley.
