Description
The Upper Tier has three distinct sections. The left section is bounded by The Ramp on the left side, and the groove of Mousetrap on its right. The very steep middle section offers good sport and trad lines, while the right section has some easy slab routes and some short steep lines on the far right.
Upper Cave crag was one of the first places in Scotland to place bolts purposefully for Sport climbs, and has had a checkered history.
