Description

These are a collection of small to medium sized crags that are dotted around the fringes of the Highlands (mainly the Cairngorms). Some of the cliffs are worth a day or two in their own right while others are worth a visit if some of the other mountainous regions are off limits due to weather.

Getting There

The A9 north of Perth provides access to many of these cliffs.

Hello to anybody who may read this,
I'm wondering if anybody out there may be willing to help a visiting American (me) with getting out and climbing in the near future. I'll be on a family holiday in Inverness for the month of May, and would be pretty disappointed in myself if I didn't manage to sample some of the nearby stone. If anyone has interest in showing me around anywhere, or has any input on where I may be able to borrow or rent a crash pad or sport climbing gear, I'd be really appreciative of it.
Cheers,
