Description
This is a subarea created for better organization. It will include routes in the area just upstream from the upper bridge. Obviously, with an ice park, the routes will vary with spigot proliferation.
For the time being, these routes will include: Seeping Wall & Escape Hatch to No Doubt Spout.
This area is probably some of the original pipeline-leak-created ice climbs that inspired the ice park's formation. This area has some of the longest ice in the park. 2 ropes are required for rappels in. It is also some of the more photogenic area for those inspired to document in pixels and in silver grains.
Getting There
Hike up to the ice park, or drive and park. Then go uphill from the upper bridge and you are there! Most folks will rappel in or be lowered in to climb the downstream half of these routes. You can reach the upstream half of these by hiking down to these routes from the upstream end of the School Room. During really cold periods you may be able to hike down to the lower half of these routes, but you'll risk a cold bathing or more.
