Description
The highest concentration of moderate routes are located at the OK Coral. This area boasts a five minute approach and features short, shady, west facing routes that are generally in the 5.9-5.11 range. The routes here tend to be a little sharp, and are generally not as classic as those on other areas of Wild Iris - but the area is still a fine place to spend a day, particularly if you're looking for shade. Most the climbs rise out of a dense pine forest, creating a nice cool cragging environment.
Getting There
From the outhouse, follow the road right for between 50-200 yards. Multiple trails branch off to the left and head up a short distance to the crag. One of the most obvious trails begins in a campsite with a 25' bolted boulder behind it. This trail will bring you just right of the base of the route 'Claim Jumper'.
