Description

This fun route follows a flake system on the right side of the buttress. The crack system leads to a bulging wall with huge pockets. The crux comes in the last 10-15ft, were the angle steepens and the buckets get larger and farther apart.

Location

This route is located on the far right side of the central area.

Probably one of the more interesting and varied 10a around. Classic! Jan 3, 2012

Make sure to check out the fossils embedded in the rock right at the roof move. Jun 8, 2012

harder than 10a I think. It felt as hard or harder than other 10bs around, but only for one move. Super fun! Aug 7, 2013
As a TRper thought it was fun And educational! It helped me get a great, protected concept of laybacks while allowing me to experience my very first bulge! A lot of jugs and positive holds. The crux for me, a 5'6" girl was after the bulge (great footing to rest on tho) with a longer reach my partner 6'5" killed! Oct 12, 2014

Might be the best 5.10- at Iris. fun flake to bomber pockets, one tough move to get on the upper face. Uber-classic. Jun 9, 2015

Great route. Top and bottom halves are very different but each very fun. Top felt very 'gym-y' to me. Jun 26, 2017
