Description
This rock sports the ultra-classic Coarse and Buggy as well as the easily TR-able face climb The Sowsuckle. The side that faces away from the road has a number of decent easier slab routes.
The aspect that faces Quail Springs Road is generally in the sun in the early morning and the shade the remainder of the day. The slab routes on the back are in the sun in the afternoon.
Getting There
Park in a paved pullout on the south side of Quail Springs Road/Park Boulevard as for the Cathouse and Playhouse Rock. Walk toward Hidden Valley along the edge of the road and shortly, you'll encounter a marked climbing access trail that will lead you to Dihedral Rock.
The stunning dihedral of Coarse and Buggy is easily visible from the road.
