Description
The online guide rates Slab Dance 5.8 and this route 5.10a. Both routes seem to be of the same general difficulty (easier than 10a). A fall before you reach the second bolt on this climb could easily result in ground fall from about 35 feet up.
Start roughly 10 feet to the right of Slab Dance below the next line of bolts. Climb easy rock up to the first bolt. Follow a series of pockets up to a blanker move to reach the second bolt (if the bolt were three feet lower, you could clip while standing in a pocket, instead of on crux-ish smears). Continue past a couple more bolts to a rappel anchor.
