Description
Start below and right of an overhanging panel of rock. Unlock a tricky sequence to get off the ground then step left toward a small pocket and your first piece of gear - a small cam in the lower left end of the panel. From here make a somewhat tenuous move to gain better holds and more gear. Continue up through big jugs to the left side of a large clean ledge. Move to the back of the ledge and continue up a corner which will lead to a Hemlock tree with a fixed cord and steel locking carabiner/anchor.
Note - the crux of the route is getting off the ground and moving to the first piece of gear. Since the crux is unprotected it is highly recommended to have at least one person spotting the leader until the first piece is placed or bring a bouldering pad.
