Description

The crux is getting out of the corner and onto the first ledge. Get a piece in high in the first corner crack and make sure your belayer is paying attention. The whole climb is good but the beginning and final 10 feet are highlights.

Location

Start 5 feet right of the Rapid Transit corner. Climb up a thin block and get into the corner crack to the right. Continue up the corner until you can reach a skinny tree on a sloping ledge. Pull up onto the ledge and continue up the ridge to a slab. Follow the natural line up and right to a small roof. Pass under the roof then move up to a Hemlock tree.

Protection

Single rack to 3". One fixed pin near the top. Get up on the ledge, build an anchor on one of the trees and belay the second. Rap straight down to the base of CSI.
