Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.
Description
This is a TR route left of Ricochet Rabbit. Access the anchors from this route. A 70m rope is best, but a 60m rope will work. You will need to scramble up to tie in. There is a single bolt hanger at about 50 feet up that is used as a directional. You need to clip this hanger as a directional, as you will hit the wall on the opposite side of the canyon. If you fall off, you will not be able to get back on the route.
This route has two 5.12 sections. Climb a thin face. The crux is the 1st 40 feet and then a 5.12a at bulge near the top. This has been climbed right of the directional bolt and left of the directional bolt - it is much harder left of the bolt.
Why is it not a bolted lead? After I did it on TR, I had some health issues and never was able to get back to that level of climbing. I asked a friend to help me get this thing bolted. In the future, this will be a leadable climb.
