The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:

Description
Start at the base of the gully in the center of the cliff as for Silver Surfer. Climb the varnished gully for about 25 feet, then step right and climb the face and a thin, vertical crack to a final ceiling and the top.
Scramble off climber's right or move left and rappel from the Underdog anchor.
