Please be aware of the annual raptor seasonal closures!

The two areas Jefferson County Open Space intends to close in Clear Creek Canyon, shown on the attached maps, encompass the active eagle nests. If the Clear Creek eagles continue to nest in the active nests, these areas will remain closed from February 1 through July 31. If the eagles choose different nesting sites, the closures will be adjusted accordingly to protect those eagles during their breeding season.
Currently, rock climbing areas that fall inside of the seasonal raptor closures include:
Blonde Formation
Bumbling Stock
Evil Area
Ghost Crag
Highlander
Skinny Legs
Stumbling Block
Tetanus Garden
Fault Caves

Description
Off The Rails climbs up to a roof at the 3rd bolt. Bolt 3 to 4 felt like the crux. The roof can be pulled directly at 5.11 or skirted to the left and back right up the "rail" to bolt 4 for the 5.10 version. Zigzagging up the rail seems more obvious and natural and is fun movement.
Location
It is the middle route of 3 clustered bolt lines (Casual Encounters, Off The Rails, and Colorado Casual). It shares the last couple bolts and the anchor of Colorado Casual (described in the Capps guidebook).
