1) Never park or camp overnight at the access points.
2) Always park off the pavement, taking great care to avoid blocking the gates.
3) Clean up after your dogs. (Local climbers are finding abandoned doggie poop bags.)
4) Pack out all trash and TP, including picking up after others.
5) Use the outhouses if at all possible.
Description
This is an independent harder straight up alternative to most of Breaking the Law.
Start on Breaking the Law. Step left where Breaking the Law moves right at bolt three and stay left of bolts going straight up to and through a short steep section using small holds and the arete. The crux is a tricky section with small slick holds and some reaches. Climb the enjoyable easier face above, joining either Another Brick or Breaking the Law for the last few feet.
Although Empty Spaces shares a few bolts the majority of it is completely independent and unique enough to be it's own route.
There is also the option for harder technical slab climbing by staying on the face to the right of the bolts without using the arete after leaving Breaking the Law. The bolts were placed so they could be clipped from either side. Again, the crux (11/11+) is at the steeper section.
