Description
Start at the base of the east side of the first large roof you come to from the east side stairs. The original route established in the 1980's climbed up the arete and out the lip and around the corner on the face before heading up. The rock around the final face is fairly brittle and fractured now 40 years later. Now, you can head up after finishing out on the lip and pull the face.
Originally the lines was called Cleaning Jerk, this is from Kevin Cieszkowski and the FA:
"Jeff (Shroup) did most of the cleaning, so I put him as the Clean, and I was the Jerk. We agreed to take turns on the route, and I happened to get it first."
