Description Suggest change

An excellent old school corner - Stem, layback, pinch, & crimp the featured rib and tiny seam until you can undercling traverse to the chains. Originally protected by fixed pins that were later stolen, for years this route has been rarely climbed and overlooked. Retrobolted by Bingham in 2021, it is now a friendly "warmup" for Creekside's other classic 5.11's and 12's, but don't expect a gimme at the grade.

Highly recommend having a follower clean the route. The Chains are quite far to the right and will lower you directly over the open project 'Ciebola' - An incredible looking arete with a frustratingly blank bottom section. Maybe the next generation can unlock a sequence and discover the fabled "city of gold"

Location Suggest change

Lower creekside, just left of the sharp arete

Protection Suggest change
