Description
Wabanaki translates to "People of the Dawn', the four Algonquian first nations of eastern Canada. Shared start with Inspector Clueless. Begin below a crack system leading to a face. Make tricky moves to get to a narrow foot ledge. Traverse left to a corner crack. Follow this to a roof. Move left around the roof and then up and slightly right to a large Spruce tree at the top of the wall.
Location
Found on the left side of Minkey between Pink Panther and Bird of Fire. The start is easy to find.
Protection
Standard rack to 2" piece. Bring lots of small cams, especially green alien or .3 BD. This climb eats nuts, especially offsets. There is plenty of gear on this route but it is not obvious and you have to work for it. You can easily get back to the ground with a 60 meter rope but tie knots!
