One important thing to note is that Brazilian routes have multiple grades per pitch. The route is rated like this in Brazil:
D2 4o. V+ E3 300m which means it is 5.9+ but there is a 5.10b section as well.
P1 - III (5.5) three bolts then anchor bolt
P2 - First two sections are IV+ (5.8+) then IV (5.7) with two bolts and then a two bolt anchor. Routes goes left and then right
P3 Goes up and then left. 7 bolts to two anchor bolts. All IV+ (5.8+) climbing.
P4 VI+ (5.10b) then IV (5.7) then V (5.9) at the top. All natural protection.
And more and more and more.

Two 50 meters ropes. A standard rack and sport climbing gear.

This is a sweet route with cool crystal dikes. It's the only route we got to do in this stunning area before returning home. The post climb pizza at Das Aguas was great too! Aug 27, 2018
