Access Issue: Flagstaff Watershed Protection Project- Closures in effect as of 1/25/19 Details
Large portions of Mt Elden are closed to entry due to forest thinning as a part of the Flagstaff Watershed Protection Project. The closures are temporary, however, they now carry a lengthy expiration date of 12/7/2020 or until rescinded. Closure areas are subject to change as the forest thinning is done in stages. Make sure you understand the the boundaries. West Elden, Oakland’s, and Solitude Canyon are closed to entry as of 2/5/19.
To be radical by nature start on back to nature. After the third bolt continue straight up into free radical. Make sure to bring two runners for the first two bolts on free radicals face.
