Description

Begin at the left side of the rounded buttress below the large scoop and upper headwall. From a hard to see slot (for the left hand), climb an assortment of polished and sloping cobbles, small pockets/scoops, and edges to a very large coarse-grained inclusion. Continue up the lower angled slab to the aforementioned headwall. Pull the headwall on edges, a great inclusion, and shallow scoops & pockets, to an anchor above the ledge.

Location

Left of the trail as the trail goes uphill into the First Corridor. The left-most route on the Egg Cup buttress. Identified by a vertical 4-finger slot for the left hand about 5 feet above the base, and is the second from the left line of bolts.

Protection

6 bolts & 2-ring Fixe anchor.

Crux is leaving the mid-way scoop - trust those inclusions! Nov 28, 2011
