Description

This is a right-hand start to Burt's. Start sitting around the arete to the right with your right hand on a small sidepull and your left on the arete. Throw left hand up, and match right hand on the arete (crux). Move left until you can join Burt's for the topout.

This is a cool variation that adds a few more hard moves to a classic problem.

Changes made. Whenever the FA was, this is the classy way to do Burts. Aug 26, 2011

Sorry about the misinformation. Give the date of the FA and who got it and I'm sure Jay will change it for ya. Aug 26, 2011

I've climbed the original so many times that it's hard to say - it felt like V4 the other day. It's harder than Burt, and a lot of people consider Burt hard. Soft 7, hard 6, somewhere in there? Nov 30, 2010

Any thoughts on the grade? I thought it was kind of soft for a 7. Nov 23, 2010
