Description

Follow 5 bolts up the arete to a ledge with a two bolt anchor. The rock is a bit suspect but more traffic should help that. Not recommended for a novice 5.7 leader.

Location

Start 10' left (downhill) from Turtle Head.

Protection

5 quickdraws and something for the two bolt anchor.

This route shares its anchors with Turtle Head.

Most mellow route at The Palace. I can't count how many people I have belayed on this route for their first outdoor lead. Nice on ramp for beginners. Oct 19, 2015
