A slopey start leads to an offwidth-style crux - an unusual move.

This is just right of Check Your Head and Check Your Six.

Great route! The crux was fun but a bit heads up. No real offwidth technique needed though, just look fer the feet! Get on it! Sep 4, 2016
The off-width at the top is definitely interesting. Probably not hard for those used to that style of climbing, but it was definitely nerve wracking for me. This is overall a really great route, one of the better 5.9s in the area, and definitely a great warm-up. Dec 16, 2014

One of the best for the grade at the palace. The off-width crux is spicy! But there are several no-hands rests along the way and the climbing is thoughtful with interesting moves. Jul 16, 2012

The off-width crux is surly the crux. I can not wait to try this route again. It is fun for The Palace. Nov 1, 2007
