Description

A super classic at its grade, Thetis comes highly recommended.

A bit of a stemming and scumming and the route will seem very doable for the grade. Old school well-rounded traditional climbers can step up on this one even if the route seems a bit over their grade range.

Bridge, stem and contort your way up the left side of the gigantic tufa. Might even be a no-hands rest or two for the open-eyed climber.

Fantastic and not to be missed. An island classic.

Location

Located on the right side of the large, circular shaped cave. Find the immense tufa, on the right side of the double eyebrow shaped roof above the climbing routes. This tufa forms the right side of the route.

Protection

5 bolts lead to a two bolt anchor.

I believe the crux comes higher up as the route dog-legs to the right. The climbing down low is very straight forward as long as you stem. Things slope out as you work rightwards at the top. Enjoy. Good lead for people looking to push into more hard 10s. Nov 26, 2015
Way good. Big old bees like to hang out on the bottom of the stalactite but don't seem too interested in biting you. Jul 30, 2018
