An amazing and full value route for the grade. Start off by scrambling up the low-angle slab, being careful not to blow the first clip. Pull into the overhang on jugs and make a big move to the sloping rail above. With difficulty, move off of the rail to crimps and clip. Crank your way up a relentless section on crimps and tufa blobs, including a tough move to a diagonal edge (the lower crux). It is possible to bypass this move by moving left and rejoining the route afterwards. From here, an easier bit on an awesome vertical tufa leads to a massive jug, where one can (hopefully) get all of their energy back. The route is about 7C/5.12d up to here.

When you’re ready, move right on some awesome undercling jugs into the intimidating orange head wall. This headwall presents the redpoint crux of the route - a difficult sequence on tiny edges, with awful feet. A “make-or-break” move to an uncut edge is the last hard move on the route. A stroll up another great tufa feature leads to the anchors. Aesthetic, with incredible movement and perfect rock, Angelika is one of the best routes around! Get on it!

The obvious line up the grey and orange rock, to the right of Erros.

12 (?) Bolts, usually not fixed.
