A fun, beginner-esque route that starts off with a short vertical stretch, then meanders up easy WI1+ to a series of short bulges in a left-facing corner.

To be entered later.

Standard ice protection. Sling trees for TR anchor. Be aware that this route is too long to be TRed with a standard 60M rope; either use a 70M, or extend the TR anchor at least 5-10 feet down from the top-out (15-20 feet from the trees). There are rappel rings located nearby; two rappels to the bottom, or use two ropes.

I had a 70m rope and couldn't reach the bottom on rappel. I had to setup a belay on a ledge about 10' to the left for my friends on TR.

The ice was pretty thin or non-existent for the easier slab portion on 2/27/2013.

NOTE: I'm pretty sure this is the climb I'm referencing but it was my first time climbing in the Catskills. Jan 28, 2013

70m rope will get you down, with rope stretch. Dec 20, 2013
I just climbed it today - and I used a 70. I had about 3 meters to spare at each end of the rope when I touched down. Jan 7, 2015
