Description

Aesthetically, it can't be beat! This fantastic climb begins on a slight slab which quickly changes to vertical, then it moves into a juggy overhang and a crimpy finish to the anchors. It is 5.10c, except for the pump factor which might take it to .10d. If you know who has FA, let me know!

Location

This is straight up a right-facing buttress 15' left of Richter Scale. There are 5 climbs total on this small section with very poor rock on either side.

Protection

9 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor.

Photos

Pretty gritty, with some questionable rock at mid height (large hollow-sounding flake), and also at the top. Bears some resemblance to fun, but certainly not 4 stars. Apr 1, 2007

This route would have been great if it weren't for the giant, hollow sounding block at the top that you have to use to reasonably finish the route. Not recommended. May 22, 2012

I pulled the roof around the left side and didn't encounter any loose rocks. There is some about mid-way, but the climbing there is easy and the weak rock is easy to skip. Thought it was pretty fun. Apr 4, 2014

10b/c if you finish left, ~11b if you finish right. Mar 20, 2018
