Climbing Near Hays, Texas

It’s right off Onion Creek and floods often. Shimmy along the rock wall till you get to the first available section to step up.

It’s a big hunk of limestone that fell off and has a wicked ledge with some fun traverse action. In Onion Creek, next to Choss and Ivy Wall.

Very bushy and humid. There’s a number of smaller boulders and chossy limestone that aren’t great for climbing. There’s a larger boulder and some stuff along Onion Creek that are climb worthy.  Springfield neighborhood park located at 6604 E William Cannon Dr, Austin,  Begin at the cul-de-sac trailhead, and walk a quarter mile to Dad boulder, and another quarter mile to Dazed and Confused Boulder, and Choss and Ivy Wall.
