Flat Hollow Rock Climbing

Heading South on Route 11 make a right onto Bald Rock Fork Road for ~1 mile. Turn right at the sign for Bald Rock Fork Rd and take this for about a mile. 

2WD vehicles will want to park at the lot just before the big "Motherlode Hill", and walk the road to the desired trailhead. (If this lot is full, find somewhere else to climb, do not park along the road or at the neighboring campground)

4WD vehicles may continue past the trailhead for the Chocolate factory to the Flat Hollow parking lot about a 1/2 mile past the top lot on the left. 

Please slow down when driving past homes on Bald Rock Fork Road (aka the road that leads from 498 to the Motherlode/PMRP). The speed limit on this road is 10 mph and driving too quickly creates dust which negatively affects the residents along the road.
