Description

A crag to the left of Throwback. Discovered and created by Greg Martin with the bolting help of Teri Doran, Isaac Fry, and Dennis Robertson. A collection of shorter sport and trad climbs.

Getting There

Park at Flat Hollow. Walk up the steep road toward Getaway & Throwback Crag. At the top of the hill, take the Getaway approach & multi-purpose trail back left, following that for a few minutes before a trail cuts up and right on an old roadbed (continuing on the main trail takes you to Getaway). Follow this newer trail to the base of Alpha Centauri.

Alternatively, approach to Throwback crag and continue along the cliff to the left, past “Do the Hemlock Rock”. About 100 yards after the last route at Throwback, the rightmost lines at Alpha Centauri will appear.
