Description

Torre Brunico is a pillar attached to the Pisciadù plateau, part of the larger Sella massif. Its distinct summit is separated from the plateau by a small notch and some 4th class scrambling.

AKA Bruneker Turm and Torre Bernech in this tri-lingual region.

Getting There

Park at a large dirt lot a few minutes up the road from the towns of Corvara and Colfosco.

Follow trail "666a" slightly east out of the lot before turning uphill and following switchbacks up the obvious gully.

Once above the initial gully, trend left on a trail across a broad grassy terrace towards the tower. When roughly below your route, find a small climber's path or just stroll up easy terrain to the base of the wall.
