Description Suggest change

The High Camp area sports perhaps the best high-altitude cragging in New Hampshire. Situated at about 4000 feet on the southeast slope of Mt Osceola, these cliffs are the perfect summer spot. When it's sweltering down in the lowlands, chaces are there's a nice breeze up at this crag. This is a mountain environment, so watch for mountain weather, which includes sudden and violent afternoon thunderstorms.

Bring a light rack, a 60m rope, and perhaps some bigger cams. There is something for everyone here: some trad, some sport, and some mixed, from 5.5 to 5.12, and all developed in the modern idiom, which includes bolts where you need 'em, and convenient lower offs on most pitches.
