Note that the annual closures of the Park View Dome, The Ranch Hand, Black Creek Wall, and Sawmill Crag have been permanently lifted. These cliffs will continue to be monitored, but will only close if a new nest is spotted.
Description
Like most Roughneck areas, this gets nearly all-day sun. However, as the namesake suggests there are a few large trees that provide some shade along the base. The climbing is characterized by some pretty amazing chickenheads, but unfortunately, the wall is a bit more broken than the average Roughneck Area route. That said, there are several good routes here and there are also still quite a few new ones (easy/moderate) left to do as well.
