Description
This is a secluded area that is a great spot to hang out with the crew and try some obscure classic V5 compression climbs. There are a few projects left in the area and a few warm-up climbs as well.
Getting There
This area is located just past the Twin Boulders and just before the Headstone Boulder. From Zigzag/ central Black Jack Boulders, hike out past the Moat Boulder and Ricochet Boulder following the well-beaten path that heads towards the Northwest Territories. This trail brings you past "Inverted Siberian Husky" and after another 40 yards on the trail you will come upon the Twin Boulders.
This area is located just behind the Twin Boulders. The best and easiest way to access The Pit Stop Area is to continue on the trail past the Twin Boulders.
Once you are about even with the end of the second Twin Boulder, veer right off the trail onto a faint trail that crosses over a seasonal spring. Continue walking past the steeply overhung lowball one mover "Grace is Gone" for about 5-10 yards then veer right up a small hill. Once on top of this little hill, the area opens up and there is a depression in the land creating a sort of pit-like landmark.
