Description Suggest change

This is a pyramid-shaped boulder at the base of a talus covered hillside. The Moonstone has a flat landing and hosts a few fun problems to add to the warm-up circuit. The North-West face holds a few harder problems, while the South-East face has a few slightly easier ones.

This boulder is shaded by a forest in summer-time but is fairly exposed during the other three seasons due to the number of deciduous trees in the area. Further East from this boulder is a large vernal pool/ wetland that is home to thousands of mosquito-larvae which make the change in the summer and fall months in an attempt to repel visitors from this area. Citronella bracelets, candles and Deet tend to work fairly well in aiding the adventurer.

Getting There Suggest change

From the South Side Area, starting from The Elemental Boulder and Lone Wolf Boulder, head South. Cross a small stream and a plethora of fallen trees until you come to a large flat section of
the forest at the base of the hill. The Moonstone is a large single boulder found on this flat section of land.
