Description Suggest change

This is a boulder off the beaten path. However a bit easier to get to than the Sherman Boulder. The boulder is a bit tall and requires a few pads. Worth the visit as it has some quality lines. If it was at either of the main areas it would see a lot of traffic.
After meandering around the park for many years it was awesome to stumble upon this, well in my eyes, gem. After quite a bit of scrubbing and flake exfoliation the rock is climbable and well textured. Obvious caution should be used as the boulder is fairly tall.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at Round Pond. Follow the South Ridge Trail for about 5 to 10 minutes along the pond. When the trail snakes right up hill away from the pond look for a cairn. Cut into the woods there. Cross the stream bed at another cairn. Staying at the height of land walk for 5 minutes to the obvious boulder in the woods. Approach is about 10 to 15 minutes from the parking.
