Description

Peak numero eight. The tallest of the ten, offering reputed 'rank' Rockies rock. Most ascents are via the Northwest Ridge which summits Neptuak (nine) along the way. The infamous Super Couloir authored by George Lowe and Chris Jones ('73) is the real line, but if you're looking here for beta on such a route, you're a dummy. The NW ridge offers a great day or two out climbing through a geological time warp; so many kinds of rock up there, all offering their pros and cons. The shale isn't the worst up there surprisingly...
