Description Suggest change

When the temps plunge, clouds obscure the sun (i.e. no "sun warmth" on Pichoff Quarry Wall) and the wind blows, think about this wooded area with 1/2 rope length climbs.

Went there a few years ago with a much-traveled local who had never been there, and he was impressed. "Neat" climbs and out of the wind. Like Knob Lock, this faces north. We took a thermos and had a fine day.

Getting There Suggest change

Take Rt 9N from Rt 73 east towards Elizabeth Town. Park at a 3-car pull-out with the "Leaving Keene" sign on the northside of 9N. Walk back towards Keene 200 - 300 yds to tel. pole # 121. Cross the stream and up a wooded but fairly open ridge that diagonals up right. 15-25 minutes.
