DescriptionWhen viewing the Tre Cime group from the south side, the south side of Cima Piccolissma is obvious tooth like spire on the far right (East) side of the group. The south face contains the ultra-classic Cassin route, while around the corner on the north east face is the popular chimney line Preuss Crack.
Getting ThereThe approach is obvious from the parking lot at the Rifugio Auronzo hut. From Rifugio Auronzo hike towards rifugio Lavaredo on the huge, busy path below the southern aspect of the Tre Cime. Continue past the Rifugio Lavaredo under the wall you will be climbing (the stunning pointed spire directly above you) to the pass (Paternasattel) then traverse back left on the trail up the ridge directly to the base of the wall.
