Description Suggest change

The Mid Bowl area includes many great boulders. The boulders are more spread out than in the Lower Bowl area, but there's a lot of rock hiding in the trees.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the main area directions to reach the stream crossing. Immediately after crossing the stream there will be a junction in the trail. Continue straight here. In about a hundred feet you'll reach a clearing made by a very old logging road. Where turning left and following the logging road downhill takes you to the Lower Bowl, keep going straight following cairns across and slightly up the hillside. The first piece of rock you'll see is the overhanging side of the Murray Boulder. Continue across the hill and you'll see the XX Boulder. More boulders extend uphill from here.
