Castlegar Suggest change

Named for the castle like rocks looking over the confluence of the Columbia and Kootenay Rivers. Castlegar is home to an abundance of quality crags with short approaches and a variety of styles and grades.

Getting There Suggest change

The Crows Nest Highway (Hwy 3) comes in west from Vancouver and the Okanagan, while Highway 3A comes in from Nelson to the east. There is also an airport with regular service to Vancouver (unreliable in winter).
