Description
A a remote crag with an alpine feel. From Castlegar drive east on Highway 3 over the Bombi, turn right into a view point and park. A flat 40 minute hike along the Mel Deanna trail takes you to a large cliff. Follow the trail till you see a large boulder about 30 minutes. After the boulder count 6 or 7 interpretive signs then watch for a faint trail that heads off to the right. Follow the cairns to and along the edge of the cliff till it cuts back right and down to the rebar ladder that takes you tot he belay ledge. Longer routes, a beautiful view of the Columbia River and great potential for future routes await you.
