Description

The lower area at Mt. Molly gets little direct sunlight making it a nice hide out on hot summer days. The cliff is wide and about 100' tall in spots. Most of the Slab Area is covered in moss, but there could be a couple lines up through some clean streaks. The Alcove area is steeper and cleaner, but not as tall.

Getting There

Walk along the approach trail to Molly for 5 minutes. In the Birch grove take a right at a cairn and follow the climbers path for 2 minutes to the base of The Alcove. Be careful of hanging limbs falling! The wind storms caused some serious damage out here.
