Description
The Microwave Area is made up of three short cliffs, offer routes from steep face climbing to crack. Routes range from easy to hard.
Getting There
The quickest and easiest way to reach the Microwave Tower, head out towards Devil's Den. Pass the boulder field, following the cliff band to its northern most point, climbing steeply to the top of the Den. Keep following the trail thru a small sparsely wooded area before entering the woods again, at this point in time you'll be able to see the microwave reflector and part of the lower cliff area. Keep following the white blazed trail to the top of the hill.
Once on the summit of the hill look for a faint climbers trail that heads south following a short cliff band behind the reflector (Upper Microwave Cliff). Follow this trail down and to the left to reach Lower Microwave Cliff. Middle Microwave cliff is located in front of the reflector.
