Description

There are various crags in this high country area including Cunningham Gulch, Eureka area, South Mineral Creek, The Stripe, and Trainrobber Wall. There is a mix of bolted and traditional lines. There are routes up to 500 feet long here and plenty of potential for more, especially for those willing to walk a bit further. The rock climbing is generally in the late spring to fall time. There are beautiful valleys here with plenty of waterfalls. In general, the climbers are far outnumbered by the wildlife. Altitudes are generally 9000' and up. Sun protection is useful for the sensitive. Be prepared to mountain weather.

Man, I don't usually comment on these things, but this seems to be a new problem in our area. I've bolted many of the routes at Lemon, and we are having the same problem. DRAWS ON SPORT CLIMBS ARE NOT BOOTY and biners on anchors ARE NOT BOOTY!! Aug 31, 2012

Shepherd, call woods then I'll stop stealing your draws and anchor biners! ;) Sep 5, 2012
If you see draws on sport climbs please leave them! They are not booty and are not yours to take. Use them if you want, don't abuse them, and leave them hanging when you're done. Tired of going up to my project for all the draws to be gone. Let's respect our fellow climbers and adhere to this simple ethic! Sep 4, 2017
