Climbing in Solstice Cave is no longer off limits. Permission from the Lincoln National Forest (Carlsbad, NM) must be obtained before any new routes can be bolted.

Getting There Suggest change

Solstice is located directly accross the canyon from the terminus of the approach trail. This is also one of the few crags visible from the parking area.

There are some new lines and lots of silly linkups since this topo was drawn.<br> <br> Note that the routes with a "?" did not have confirmed grades at the time this was created. Expect those lines to be anywhere from 2-4 letter grades over-rated, as was the case with the routes in the cave that I climbed. Routes without "?"'s are "confirmed" at that grade, but don't expect them to match what you see on KW's 8a.nu scorecard.
