Access Issue: Fire Burn Area Details

It appears that the Rimrock Fire burned through the Tieton. If anyone has updates, please post them in the comments. Until then, consider climbing elsewhere.

Description

With taller pillars, a darker coating of lichen, and shade that lasts later into the day, the main face doesn't seem quite as friendly as the Orange Sunshine area. Here too, though, there are some great climbs, including the Tieton's classic 5.9, Inca Roads. There are also a few dirty offwidth sandbags you'll never miss climbing.

Getting There

Hike to the cliff. Continue past the Orange Sunshine area on the trail. Descend the stairs and follow the trail around the corner. The trail continues along the base on the Main Face. Please stay on the trail to minimize impact to the slope.
